Apparently, the exhaust gases smell like a brewery. The fact that the car sometimes weaves around like its drunk doesn’t help either. Bad tie rods, you know? I have told the police on many occasions that I don’t drink but “the car does”, and it usually causes the officers to get real mad. Many times, I’ve been pulled out of the car, and asked to do the stupid sobriety tests. Have you ever tried to sing the alphabet backwards? Seriously, who can do this, sober or otherwise? When I try to explain that I converted the car to run on beer, I usually get the cuffs. One time, I opened the trunk to show the officer the empty beer bottles. I was sited for open container. Now, I only buy kegs for the car. But pumping that kegger when your in a hurry is a real *****, though. And tempting too. Especially when it's hot outside and you’ve had a long day at the office. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make the beer smell go away from the exhaust?

You could start filling it with Keystone or Natural Light. That way you're practically running on water. Then your car will smell like a pot of boiling water.

Also, I imagine the yeast is hell for your internals. How often do you get it inspected?

FYI - Many drag racers run on ethanol or alcohol, and while beer is a toned down version, I imagine such an alternative fuel is feasible; however the price of a gallon of gas is way cheaper than a six-pack.

My son in law is a state trooper and this is a common problem especially in college towns. He pulls over at least 2 a week usually on weekends, lets see beer $1.50 per 12 oz. gasoline at $2.25 per gallon why not run the car on gasoline and drink the beer. Exhaust problem solved but the car may still drive eratic.

I'll tell you something that's funny. LOL Well, That;s very stupid to convert that into a car. I wouldn't do that to my car. Besides, Beer is just as high as gas so you are not saving money. I think you are joking about the whole thing.

Stick a decaying carcass of a skunk in the exhaust pipe or let it rest right on top of the engine for a solid week. That should do the trick!

If that doesn't work, try doing the same thing with rotten eggs or possibly park your car at the sewage plant instead of in your garage.
