I want my share.

Better yet, we should all publish a book "Yahoo! Answers, The [in]genius Within -- Everything You Ever Wanted To Know & A Lot You Don't.".

If you read it properly, the book is comprised of questions and answers from the New Scientist magazine. I have personally read some of that book, and also one of the previous books, and i can tell you that the answers that are given are usually from researchers and academics on that scientific subject. The answers are all lot more thorough than 99% of the answers to some of the questions on here. I'm also willing to bet that they don't get all the nonsense and offensive answers that people post here just so they can gain more points.

Loads of places have done answer /question forums, for example the Guardian newspaper in the UK has had something similar, called 'Notes and Queries' that ran for years, it may even still run. Don't think that Yahoo Answers are unique by a long shot!

ok most folk state their sources and if this guy got all his stuff from Yahoo answers then his book should be titled as such nothing less. If he is going to blatently state this as his own work then maybe we should all sue him, en masse court action maybe thats a first! Ahh the morals of some folk baffle me

Your just cynical. Think about the kind of answers most people give here. They really aren't worth printing, and those that are would have to be checked.
