How long is it before one notices hormonal chances once pregnacy hits?
I know i was in my furtle time earlier this week, andmy husband and I had sex right before and just as the furtle time was starting.. i mean with in 24 hours...my period isnt due for at least another week and half.. i figure id wait that long before useing one of my tests... It would be 6 days now since possible conception, and this week has been very strange!!! I've been ULTRA moody! i freaked out my husband and the girl that lives with us thought it was rather strange... My boobs are sentitive some of the day, and i get off and on cramps in my lower back and abdomen... i dont feel like eating but i'm hungry, i can't eat very much... i dont know... i'm gonna test on the 18th if i dont get my period. I wonder if any one had significant changes with in a few days?

I'm sort of on the same boat as you right now. I used an ovulation kit to tell me when I'd be ovulating, had intercourse a couple times and am waiting to get my period. I've had many symptoms that sources say are signs of pregnancy, however, they can often be confused with signs of PMS or leading up to your period. I'm not really sure about this but I think in some ways if we are wanting something to happen and there's even a slight possibility, our minds tend to pick up on every little "symptom" and convince ourselves that it's most likely from conceiving. I'd give it a little time and really, if you think of it, if we had the patience/ability to wait for about 2 weeks, we'd find out and save ourselves the worry. I know as women that's just the way we are, BUT we need to find a way to just relax (stress delays your period and throws your body and hormones all off) and think of other things. I think time will pass and we'll find out when the time is right. Good luck and let me know what happens! I'm going to wait and see in about a week or two if I've conceived as well!

It is very rare to have any symptoms the first month! I would say take the test - but don't be upset if you are not. When you try to get pregnant for some reason it seems harder to do it - we tried for almost 2 years. But now we have two beautiful children a boy, and a girl.
