That makes sense. I have this CD called "the string quartet tribute to Audioslave" and they did a rendition of that song. Maybe they should check their sorces before they put out a cd.

That is actually Soundgarden and the song is on Superunknown (I believe). You got the singer right, but he was playing for years before Audioslave...you should give Soundgarden a try. They are very good and all of their albums are worth a listen...
