"Density of Souls" was one of my favorite books. The way Chris does his character descriptions is similar to his mother Ann Rice's style. But his stories tend to have a poetic infusion in them too which makes the reading very enjoyable and you can easily paint a picture in your head. He must get the poetic side form his dad Stan Rice the famous poet. Must be nice to have such great genes. He also wrote "Light Before Day" and another one I read that I can't remember the name of right now. But all of his books are great. I can't wait for the next one to come out. Check out his homepage. It's been a few years since I've read it, but I loved it.
A friend read another book by him, the title eludes me, but he loved that as well.
For anyone else who doesn't know, Density of Souls is the title. Small typo.
