It may be the iron in them.....sometimes Iron has a hard time being absorbed in the stomach and can cause upset because it's not being used properly. Try taking the pills with orange juice, the Vitamin C binds to the iron and helps it absorb better.....or talk with your OB about the issue...they do make alternate prenatal vitamins for women who have problems keeping them down..they have lower doses or iron or none at all, but you still get the benefit of everything else.

Your body changes when you become pregnant. I was taking prescribed prenatal pills for over a year and when my prescription ran out, I went and bought some from Costco. I was OK with them at first and then, I became pregnant. As soon as I found out I was pregnant and feeling my morning sickness, my prenatal pills made me feel worse. I told my OB about it and she gave me another prescription. Now, I'm fine.

Just talk to your OB about it and have him/her give you a prescription or change it.

Prenatal vitamins are PACKED with loads of different vitamins. And the hormone fluxes your body is undergoing during pregnancy are horrendous!

I recommend taking them at night, straight after dinner, or right before bed. Sleep it off! :D

I suggest taking them at night befor bed. I took mine at night right befor I went to bed so that I didn't get sick. But my doctor ended up giving me flinstones complete instead. Yea you have to take two but I rather chew those then take the prenatal. Talk to the doctor, they might let you switch.

the iron in it makes many pregnant woman sick. it made me sick too. my midwife suggested that i stop taking them and take a low dosage vitamin without iron. my eating habits were very heathy so i could do this. talk to your midwife...(or god forbid a doctor if you have to) and get some info. a midwife will have more information since they are experts in the field.

Try getting one without Iron its the Iron that makes your tummy upset. I had to do this my first trimester but now I have to take Iron vitamins because I got anemia so think about it before you switch

Try taking them with something to eat. I found that if I take them on an empty stomach I get sick. If I eat something I don't get sick.
