Is it a girl or a boy? I have a daughter and her science experiment was to test long wearing nail polish last year and she won the fair with this one. She thought of it herself and we went to the drugstore and bought five different brands of longwearing nail polish, and all of them in the same color (red). She used the same one on the thumbs, pointer fingers, etc, and left it on for ten days. She kept a daily journal of what she did and how the nail polish was lasting. She also noted which hand lasted better.

This is cool but its a lil costly...
Get a bunch of emptly milk gallons measure out an exact gallon and go to different gas stations and pump one gallon of gas. Then compare the different amounts. You'll be surprised how much we are short-ended.

nano-technology, damaging effects of cell phone use, bacteria samples from currency, caffien and the human body (us vs. other countries)... I dont know these seem pretty good
