Can you hold out a little longer? (I am asking because I saw a show on "sexless" marrige) These folks were a little nutty.. Your thoughts?

Don't understand the point of a sexless marriage. I suppose you don't have to give it up, but I know I wanted to. Heck, I'd already given it up before we were married. I'm with you, those people sound nutty.

Absurd....
I come from the belief that one should have sex prior to marriage.
I don't care what the bible thumping right says, ( we see how moral they are anyhow ) Sex is an important part of married life. If you are not compatible between the sheets, you are not going to have a full, happy marriage. If one or both spouses are not happy with their sex lives, the more apt they are to cheat.
Just my opinion, though I am sure I am in the minority.

Most people can't wait that long so consumating your marriage on your wedding night seems to be the normal thing to do. But, you know, come to think if it, my hubby and I didn't do it on our wedding night. We were exhausted! I think it was the next night, but that was over 10 years ago. People who don't have sex at all are rather strange, arent' they?

I think not! My husband says yes, that it is tradition. Which I agree with, it is "tradition", but I dont think it's required @ all. I think that alot of women feel pressured to fullfill this so called "tradition" on thier wedding night. But I believe if you are with someone that truly loves you and you express to them that you are not ready, they would understand.
