A lot of Mexican is inauthentic (whereas the Caribbean dining scene does not have the same problem of people jumping on the culinary bandwagon for a quick buck). And as I don't know much I won't recommend.

However, if you are ever up in Milton Keynes, then go to the Bull Hotel in Stony Stratford. This unlikely venue has a Mexican restaurant called Las Cuadras, which surprisingly has real Mexican food, including mole (turkey in chocolate sauce!). I recommend it (and I used to be Secretary of MK's Latin American cultural association - Semilla). Details in the link below.

Without doubt the best Caribbean food can be found in Ochi's on the Uxbridge Road in Shepherds Bush. On Sat lunchtimes the queues stretch out of the door and the walls are full of pictures of all of the famous people that eat / have eaten there.

I would highly recommend it and I eat there every week. Superb.

Re Carribbean: There's a guy in a van on Kilburn Lane that does jerk chicken that'll make your toes curl. Mr Jerk in Wardour Street does some tasty food and its nice to eat in. One Stop Shop in Harlesden is the best food but not so great to sit and eat in.

My husband is from Mexico and grasshoppers and pig ft at the instant are not genuine Mexican nutrition unique confident. many countries eat bugs, and various areas of the pig. issues that are seen genuine meals of Mexico are: Mole Chiles Renellos Tamales Tortas Pazole Menudo Tortillas Refried beans
