First thing the MP3 file doesnt contain any URL from where "it came from". However I have seen some MP3 files where the creator has specified the address in the ID3 tag. Just hover over the MP3 file or right click and select properties. If its there, you will see it.

Assuming you dont find it, there are two ways you can look for it.

1. If u used download tools like Download Accelerator etc. Then you will find this MP3 file in the Download history (unless u cleared that out!!)

2. If not, you can growse through "History" of your Internet Browser and try to find out from the site list.

3. The best possible option is the "Temporary Internet Files" folder of your browser. If you had clicked it, it WILL be there!! Unless ofcourse u cleared that place too!!

Hope this helps

there is not any longer something in an MP3 record which will show its source. in case you're asking if yet another pc can get the MP3 out of your pc the respond isn't any. you may could desire to amail it to them.
