Is 3.5 inches thick strong enough for heavy vehicle use? Seems a bit thin. Just curious. The last time I did a driveway it was nearer 6 inches thick - and it's still all right.

come on! the approach is 6". Driveways are formed using 2"x4"s, which are really 1 5/8" x 3 5/8" and two days to DRIVE on, I would wait three before parking the car over night

DON'T allow it to dry out, keep wetting it with the hose for several days Concrete cures first then dries out, the curing process must have moisture.
A family car is OK the following day.

Concrete hardens by bonding with water. Hose it down daily for a week. Six days it will be at 90% hardness.

Like the others,I'm abit worried about the thickness. If its on a really solid base then okay.IF its dry weather, after leaving it for a day, continually hosepipe the concrete.this will cure and harden it,and stop it dusting up in the future.AS for your question, your vehicle will mark it for first few days, its up to you.
