yes, its what is called as intra-day trading,
you can make a lot of money if you know the game but an amateur with no knowledge stands to loose a lot as well

Yes. There are people who trade stocks for themselves and make enough profits. I personally know another one who retired and moved to my neighborhood recently. He still has 6 screens setup in his house for Bloomberg etc.
Obviously it is possible, but one has know what they are doing.

yes but better if don't. Have to focus very closely & have lots of reserves to day trade. Just invest for your goals which bank accounts will never meet.
