It isn't rude in my opinion. It shows that you are taking notice to that persons lack of rest. I don't understand why people take offense to that. You are simply just stating what you see. Now telling someone they look like crap is rude. You don't have to look like crap,when you look tired.

It depends on how you tell them.
If someone told me that, i would be thankful cause at least i would know that i need to take a break!

It depends who you are saying it to... and how you say it. If you're speaking to a friend then I don't think the friend would take it bad. Maybe a stranger might take it more personally.

Do you mean "tired"? And, no, I always say that to people, and people always say that to me. If you are fearing that you might offend someone, just ask how they are doing. If they are really tired, they will probably say "I'm just tired today."

I don't think so , maybe they need to talk about it . Or maybe they are not aware of how drug out they look . I would tell them , just do it in a kind way !

In most situations, I would say yes, it's rude.
If someone is asking you, or you are really concerned about someone, then it's ok.

not to me i say u look tired to a lot of my friends they dont say anything all they say is " I Am So Tired"
