A woman should never shave her face, never, if you don't want a face full of whiskers.
Acne begins in hair follicles that are connected to the sabaceous glands. These glands produce oil, or sebum, which helps keep the skin from drying out. Normally, the oil flows out of the hair follicles and travels through the pores to the pores to the surface of the skin. Along the way, it picks up dead skin cells that are constantly sloughing off inside the hair follicle.
Puberty disrupts this process, when the body's level of male sex hormones called androgans are higher. Androgans enlarge the sebaceous glands, boosts oil production, makes the walls of the hair follicle less flexible, and causes shedding skin cells to clump together. Combine these changes with the bacteria that live inside the hair follicles, and conditions are ripe for plugs to form. These plugs, called comedones, block pores and lead to acne.
Once plugs form, it may get pushed to the surface of the skin, where it protrudes slightly. This is what is known as a blackhead. The dark color of a blackhead comes not from dirt but rather from skin pigment that gets mixed into the plug as it rravels to the surface. Usually, a blackhead does not become a full-fledged pimple.
If a plug doesn't move to the surface of the skin but instead continues to grow inside a hair follicle, it can rupture the follicle wall. Then the oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria that make up the plug spill into the tissue around the follicle, causing a minor infection. In response, infection-fighting white blood cells rush to the scene. Their battle against the invading bacteria, causes a pimple.
Pimples take three form; Pustules are the classic whiteheads. Nodules are cysts that form on the surface of the skin. These cause scarring.
Pimples and blackheads seem to prefer facial skin, which has the most sebaceous glands. Most young people between the ages of 12 and 25 experience acne. Most outgrow the condition over time, as their bodies adjust to the higher levels of androgens. But if your acne has lingered well into adulthood, it doesn't mean that you have more androgens everyone else. It's probably because you may be extrasensitive to these hormones. There's also the possibility that some other factor is putting you at risk. Hormonal fluctuations that women experience during the menstraul cycle and pregnancy can trigger break-outs. So can taking oral contraceptives or post-menopausal hormone-replacement therapy. Stress, sunlight, cosmetics, and some medications can also trigger break-outs. Facial irritations can also be a problem, such as holding the phone next to your face all day or resting your hands on your face for any length of time.
Eating more whole grains, legumes, fruits, and vegetables and less meat and processed foods can help keep your complexion clear. Also large doses of iodine can aggravate acne, so cutting back on salt-laden food can also be benificial. Try eating less snack foods, such as chips, pretzels, crackers which have a high salt content also is helpful. Other high-iodine foods are beef liver, turkey, asparagus, broccoli,, and white onions.
Some people say taking zinc supplements of 135 ml. a day helps, but check with your doctor first, before starting a zinc supplement program as any zinc dosages over 30ml, should be medically supervised.
Tea Tree Oil also is a powerful antiseptic the native Aboriginal peoples use. It's available in most health food stores and some drug stores. Read the labels and choose a product that is 100% pure oil.
Excessive scrubbing with harsh cleansers does little to clear up acne. Worse, it may dry, chap, and irritate your skin, leaving your skin more vulnerable. Instead, wash your face twice daily with a mild bar of soap such as Ivory or choose a bar that doesn't contain moisturizing oils, which can clog your pores.
Use minimal make-up, even the products they say won't contribute to acne. If you must wear it, choose products that are water-based rather than oil-based. But the best bet would be to not wear make-up, go natural. Also learn not to lean your cheek or chin on your hands, which can trigger break-outs as well as holding the phone cradle on your cheek.
Also, see your doctor if your blemishes look like welts and the surrounding skin appears red and feels hot to touch. This type of acne is called cystic acne and requires medical treatment by a doctor.
Taking care of your diet will also improve your oily scalp, also ask at the health food store for a product that combats an oily scalp. Good luck with your problem and I hope this helps you out somewhat.

First of all, when you ask a question, type complete words, it doesn't take that much longer and you might even get a real answer. As far as your face goes, I have the same kind of problem. I use Biore deep pore cleanser with the little micro beads in it. It works really good and I have been in search for a great cleanser like that for years. I also use Biore's toner, it smells great, doesn't over dry out your skin and also doesn't clog pores. I would try both of those products, they work well together.

I agree with the other people. DO NOT SHAVE YOUR FACE!!! It will only make it worse instead look at other option such as waxing. For acne i really think you should try Acne Free. It really work cause i had bad skin for so long and this was the only thing that worked.
