There are differnet forms of love. I do believe in love for your family members, children and yourself. But as far as love in the dating/relationship world, no I don't believe in that type of love right now. At this point in my life,.men have let me down in so many ways that I am starting to have a very cold heart when it comes to dating. Everytime I try to love, they take my love for granted so I have learned to not love men until they show me they are worthy to be loved.

I believe in the love a mother feels for her children - & that's it. The whole man/woman/love/forever thing is bogus - men only believe in one thing & that's getting it off. They will do anything, say anything, go to any lengths, stoop to any low - whatever - for that one thing. That's all there is for them. And at that, there are some monster women (Susan Smith, Andrea Yates) who don't love their children "right" & end up hurting/killing them. I suppose that sounds horribly jaded & I'm sure there will be plenty of people who say I'm wrong, but from everything I see, what I've experienced, that's what I say. Love is an illusion.

Avatar13 i totally disagree with, i have never met anyone so afraid to love, because their frightened their heart will be broken, love is the most beautiful thing ever, to be able to share ourselves with another human being is the ultimate thing that helps us to grow in ways unimaginable, love is the only thing that out last anything, it's forever...even when we do have a broken heart we still grow from the experience, to love another human unconditionally is powerful and beautiful in it'self... love shapes us whether we have had a good or bad experience, what other thing in life is so powerful?....nothing.

ABSOLUTELY!! A friend of mine passed away about a year ago. I had been madly in love with her husband and she knew it. We were all very, very good friends and were always there for each other. Now, this man and I have a wonderful relationship because of that friendship and love that we had for each other. It makes me fall in love with him and visa versa all over. Never give up on love. It can be just around the corner.

Love brings problems - it controls your life, your car and your wallet. Better stay with two feet on the earth and keep a clear mind.
As Tina told Ike: what does love got to do with it. Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken.

Love. There are so many different kinds of love.
A lot of people mistake other feelings for love but this doesn't mean that love doesn't exist. It does.
In many shapes and forms. And when you're feeling love, you know that it's love. There's no doubt or uncertainty.

Yes I believe in love because it's a feeling you get when you really care about someone it's hard for you not to spend every moment of your life with them. I wrote a poem about love. Love what is love, love is a feeling that you get when you really care about someone it hurts your hurt to see them fail love is when you want to spend every moment of your life with a person that is what love is to me.

love should be un conditional. you should love the person warts and all. I would be lost without the love of my husband and children and the other love I have from my family
