I think it depends on the type of person you are. Some people have the attitude of "sorry just won't cut it" which makes it hard to say sorry to someone. Some people say sorry like second nature like when you bump into someone. Other's just won't say sorry because it's just not something they like to do. The faster you say sorry the easiest it is. The longer you wait the harder it is to say it.
