sorry that day will never come.

but you can get books through you local library from every library in the world.

ask the librarian to search for them using firstsearch.org only libraries can get an account at firstsearch so you will have to order it through them and return it when you are through with it.

use the copy machine to copy important pages

ask your librarian about cds and dvds. i don't think you can order them thru firstsearch though. it has to be within you local library system. here we have 65 member libraries in a 50 mile radius. we can get these through all of them but not firstsearch.

all of the web design books i have were acquired this way free.

I'm sure there are numerous organizations that will willingly send you their literature free of charge. If you are looking for free texts, your best bet is a public domain site like project gutenberg.
