Yes, it's all relative to the sun. Just like the earth has day (when it's facing the sun) and night (when it's not facing the sun). What we see is just the day side of the moon as it rotates on its axis just like the earth.

there is always a dark side of the moon due to its motion which dose not allow the other side to face the sun at all,
and the side facing the sun is always lit,
the reason we see part of the lit moon most of the month (except at full moon period; 3 days a month) is because the shadow of earth falls on the moon during those long periods (the rest of the month)

No. The moon is tide-locked with the Earth. Which is to say the same side is always facing US. When we see a full moon, the near side is entirely lit, and when we see a new moon, the far side is entirely lit. If it helps, you just just think of the moon as having days that are 28 Earth-days long.

the side of the Moon called the "dark side" is lit up just like the rest of the Moon is.... the reason they call it the dark side is because we can't see that side of the Moon from the Earth

The "dark side" refers to the perspective from earth (the side we can't see). The same half side of the moon faces earth at all times (even when we can't see it, i.e. new moon). In actuality, all sides of the moon are lit at one point or another.

No, there is no dark side. Consider what happens in a new moon; the sun is illuminating the side that we can't see

The "dark side of the Moon" refers to the Earth, not the Sun. The Moon is tidally locked and one side always points to Earth. The other side is the 'dark' side, meaning 'unknown'. (It has been mapped now.)

No we just call it the dark side since we can't see it. It is actually lit by the Sun.

The moon does not rotate, so yes it has a dark side.
