Yes, Shakira is White. People born in latin america are not considered white in United States even if they are very white. If Britney spears was born in Colombia, everyone would consider her latina instead of white....
So Shakira is white, just because americans don't consider her white doesn't mean she is not.
And Colombian is not a race, it's a nationality, there are many whites in Colombia.

She's actually half Colombian and half Lebanese. Shakira is an Arabic name, not a Spanish name, btw.

Shakira is Colombian&Arabic. Not all Latin people are dark and short, you're steoreotyping. Im Mexican&PuertoRican and Im light with green eyes. Just because your light skinned and look white doesn't mean your white.

Even if she was born and raised in Columbia maybe her parents or ancestors were born white. So if anyone knows the answer to that then we would know if she is partially white.

People always confuse nationality, ethnicity and race. She is Caucasian. Yes, she is from Colombia (nationality) and Hispanic (ethinicity), but remains Caucasian (race). The Hispanic ethnic group can consist of Caucasian, Black, Indigenous and even Asian racial groups. One of my best friends in college was Asian, but he and his parents and grandparents were born in Mexico. So he was Hispanic in ethnicity (language and society), but of Asian racial background. Best bet? We all belong to one race: Human.

Most prominently in the US, the various Latin American ethnic groups plus the Spanish are typically collectivized as "Hispanics".
Since she is of Colombian origin she is Hispanic and therefore Caucasian (white).

Shakira's mother is european of spanish (catalan), italian decent and her father is lebanese.
