Acne is a genetic disorder and malfunction of the pilo sebaceous unit, there are contributory factors that are associated with this condition: excess sebum (oil), dead skin cells (retention hyperkeratosis) and bacteria (propionibacterium acnes) that live in the hair follicle. However not every factor will affect the individual. There are many triggers that can cause acne lesions to flare to name a few are: genetics, stress, hormones, diet, lifestyle, products etc.... In order to keep this condition under control you need to clean your skin twice in the morning and in the evening, with an acid balanced cleansing agent. This will ensure all the dirt, grime, pollutants etc are removed. Avoid harsh soaps as they are alkaline based that can strip the skin's natural barrier, exposing it to bacteria and other allergens. Specially Denatured Alcohol is found in many products that has a stripping and drying effect, resulting in over production of oil and dehydrated, flaky skin. Always ensure not to pick lesions as this can cause scarring and pigmentation as a result. Use vitamin based products to help address this problem and exfoliate with a non abrasive product twice a week. Always moisurise with a oil free lotion to protect and maintain the skin's natural barrier. I recommend you seek professional advice as this is the best step forward in finding a good professional brand of product that will improve your skins condition. Good luck...

The best thing to use on spots is Sudocrem from local pharmacist. Make sure your skin is clean and put some onto spots before bed. If you use just a tiny bit, you can also use it under moisturiser and make up during the day.

There could be a number of reasons; your general health, any hormonal imbalance, using the wrong products for your skin, etc. Using foundation only COVERS the problem but does not address the CAUSE. Visit a dermatologist and get a professional opinion. Good luck!

Well if your a girl, then I would suggest using a good concealer for quick results. If your a guy, then don't.
Otherwise use Vitamin E on your spots and marks, it will eventually fade away the appearance, but not remove it completely.
