No, we never have and we never will. Look at the money we get from the BCS 14.5 million no other team gets that unless the win the National Championship. ND gets it for being eligible.

I would say that ordinarily in Division IA football you need to be in a conference to fill your schedule. However, Norte Dame has such a great history and reputation that they can fill a schedule without being in a conference. I see no problem with teams playing as independents. I personally think it puts the Irish at a disadvantage when it comes to scheduling and bowl opprotunity but it seems to work for them. Not every team could do this.

Naw, the Big East is ok without them. Yeah if they join it should be the Big East as they are part of our basketball confrence. No reason to be in one for football and another one for basketball. They are better off as an independent and as long as they put togther a decent schedule why not let it be.

Yes. But which one? They wouldn't join the Big 10 because they would never win a championship. Maybe the MAC would be a good choice.

yeah Big 10, but last time they were invited they said no, and then you have the fact that their basketball team is big East, but football isnt. i think they should be
