Today everyone - but EVERYONE - I saw was wearing brown boots with their blue jeans, including me. No other style of shoe whatever. Is this a conspiracy?

The good thing about jeans is they go with just about everything! If you like what you are wearing, and it's cute & comfortable, don't worry :)

Well, if you had seen me, I was wearing black and pink Airwalks with my blue jeans...

brown or independent. yet this would replace consistent with what shade shirt you place on. additionally I also have a pair of brown wingtip shoes that have a black sole. i located on black socks them so in basic terms journey factor to your outfit.
