I think it is still sad. And you jerks that have no compassion for people who LOSE EVERYTHING need to be slapped. If you had your home wiped out by a hurricane and people you know and love die, YOU would be living off the states too. You insensitive people

I'm wondering why so few of the "victims" are STILL unemployed and expecting US, the taxpayers to provide for and/or rebuild for them. If I were part of a natural disaster like Katrina, I would be the first one to rebuild my own home and find a job instead of complain and expect someone else to do it all for me. Anyone who has not done their part to fix the problem and start over, ON THEIR OWN, have become the problem. FEMA should not be expected to give those lazy flowers any more than they have already been given.

Right after the flood, I heard that millions and millions of $'s were pouring in from all over the world. It must have found the direction that the truck loads of American dollars that were found in Iraq, disappeared.

Wow To think. Some body knows.

much better off than before. i dont know why they complain so much. when the army built the levees they said it would only contain a category three hurricane, they had a category 5 coming at them in a city already below sea level and they did nothing to evacuate. it seems to me the town gets a fresh start now that all the stupid people have relocated or died.

It still makes me sick, i heard they were going to be cut-off, but then it was just getting my hopes up. They can re-apply to mooch some more off of the government.

Although, my apartments have started to clear out a little since they are not being fully supported any longer. It is a good day.

Hey Sammy, most of people who lost everything, didnt own anything to begin with.

What the fact that they were given thousands of dollars in debit cards and spent it on booze and strip clubs?

Hurray, for zozosammys comment. You are right on the money. People can be so insensitive, I agree with you, if these jerks replying were in that situation they wouldn't be so harsh on their comments.
