On one side of the cd it already says
sony cd-r 700mb
is that the side I can write on?
or is it the side that looks like a mirror and is all shiny?

The side with the printing on. That's the top and you put it in the drive with that side on top. I hate those CDs!

Don't write on the side that is all shiny because then the CD won't be able to be read by the laser in your computer. Just write on the side that says Sony on it.

Yeah, obviously not the shiny side, the side with the writing on; although depending on the circumstances it shouldn't matter if you have accidently written on the wrong side already, if the pen is black and alcohol-based then the laser reading the disk should go through the ink with no problems - although I would definitely not recommend doing it deliberately just in case.

The shiny side has data on it. You can write on the other side. And put this type of question in the computer section the next time.

it is unhappy, somewhat. this is what our international is coming to. people could desire to get their butts off the laptop for a jointly as. i assume i'm one to communicate, because of the fact i'm on mine plenty; in spite of the undeniable fact that, I write issues on a daily basis: I take handwritten notes in school, I write out essays and then type them (instructors do no longer settle for handwritten essays those days), I write in a mag (no longer a weblog). the international is attempting to be greater extreme-tech, and this is ruining itself.
