Lots of people delay the honeymoon until they can afford to do what they want or because of work schedules, that is not a big problem if you can wait. If you two want to do Spain, I do recommend that you save up for it and wait until you can do it and not have to worry about the funds. You will both be able to relax more and enjoy the time and each other.

substitute your honeymoon plans and do something low-value. hence i think of each and every physique getting married could pay for his or her very own wedding ceremony and not place self belief in others to achieve this. We ended up spending in basic terms a pair of days far off from residing house in a inn approximately 50 miles away after our wedding ceremony and function been "honeymooning" at residing house over the final 11 months. we've planned a extra difficult, longer holiday it is already paid in finished to have fun our first anniversary in 4 weeks.

We went BEFORE the wedding... Just the way our schedules were working out. I was amazed that all these people were soo shocked that OH NO we went BEFORE the wedding! What's the big deal? It's just a trip!! What does that matter when we go. C'mon.

So, plan a nice big trip in a year from now. Meanwhile, take an inexpensive weekend trip somewhere fun. Timing of the trip doesn't matter as much as you and him being happily married.

We went on our honeymoon a year later. It was great. Actually, I think it might be better because you already know each other really well, and you get to work for it together. Why don't you take an overnight or weekend getaway and then say Spain is your "Second Honeymoon." Which is much more exciting....saying you "missed" your honeymoon or you get two!!!!

If the marriage is going well then I'd not worry too much about not going on a honeymoon right away. I went on my honeymoon to a small town several hours away and then physical stuff didn't go too well. Would you rather your situation or mine? Seriously, life is too short to not be happy with the here and now and not worry about what did or didn't go how we wanted.

I was married to my ex for 8 years and never had a honeymoon. Honeymoon 's don't mean anything, just that you go to a tropical place with your spouse have sex and spend lots of money. Hell You can do all that from home...

Did you marry him for the honeymoon?

You have your whole lives together to travel. There's no rush.

The important part is the marriage and day to day living, not where you go on your honeymoon.

When my wife and I got engaged, I took the silver paper out of a cigarette packet and formed it into a ring. I gave it to her and said that when we had money, I would buy her a real one. Since then I have bought her several rings but she still keeps the silver paper one in pride of place. After 38 years, she must be mad.....

Did you get married to be with your husband, or to go on a big vacation?

Figure out what's important to you, and don't sweat over the little stuff.
