I'm a Lamaze instructor and I have had people in my classes alone. Most people bring someone with them . Lamaze classes typically have couple activities including breathing and massage. I would strongly recommend bringing a partner. If not your husband, you mom, sister or friend. You will feel a lot more comfortable. My class also focuses on things your partner can do to help you during labor.....so usually it's not just for you. The pillows are used for position changes and breathing usually on the floor. So take them! Good luck, hope this was helpful.

You don't need to have him there but the support will be nice for you. Yes there were a couple alone in mine. Of course...I went to one on a military base and alot of husbands were gone. It will be good for you to go so you can instruct whomever will be in the delivery room to help you. You can definatly take a girl friend with you they won't mind. I had to do that myself becuse my husband was underway with the navy for my pregnacy. All a pillow will do is help you to get more comfortable when assuming the wacky positions. Not only that most classes are held on the floor and you may want one.

I took lamaze with my first baby. It has been 15 years, but it should still be the same. My husband went with me, but he hated it. lol
No, it wasn't bad. But you don't have to bring your husband, but try to bring somone, even though it isn't required. I didn't bring a pillow, but when we arrived I wished I had. They had some there that they lent me. I would try to bring someone and MAKE SURE to bring a pillow. lol

Good luck with your baby and God Bless your family.

I did not see anyone who was alone. The pillow can help, it just depends upon you. Bring it, if you need it, you have it. I think your husband should be with you.
