Brocken IPOD?

umm i brought my ipod to work and one of my coworkers dropped it, now whenever it turnes on it says to restore it but when i do it resets and turns on and says the same thing, i tried restoring it over and over and no results... is the hard drive busted? and if so would a normal MK3008GAL work?

If all that isn't working, you better take it to the store you bought it in, and ask them to repair it. That will be the best solution.
