Nothing. October 6, 1582 was one of ten skipped to bring the calendar into sync. Oct 5-14 were dropped.

The Gregorian calendar was first adopted by a few countries in Europe. The exact date was February 24,1582. 1582 is also the year that A.D. was used to denote a date after Christ. In Latin it was anno Dominiary.
