Only those who are dead.

PS. WE Brits are not like those in USA, contrary to some comments above we are not dickh---s who believe everything our newspapers write. We challenge idiots who are in politics and the USA should be ashamed of their election record. What happened in Florida to help one short meglomaniac? Is it as common as it appears?
Yes our politicians are mostly pathetic but we KNOW when they lie !!!---They open their mouths.

Well, Bush hasn't lied about anything(It's spelled 'liar' by the way). The one thing people tend to claim he lied about is WMDs in Iraq, which actually just recently turned out to be true, but even if it wasn't, he said intelligence gives us reason to believe that Sadam had weapons of mass destruction, that's not a lie, his course of action is what prudence would have dictated in the circumstance, they had good reason to believe he was harboring the weapons, and if it turned out to be untrue, it was simply a misplaced belief, not a lie, I'm not sure how lie comes out of being incorrect.

As well, Saddam was an asshole, during the initial UN inspections, while no WMDs were found then, they did find numerous missles that were in violation of the same treaty. This guy had no respect for the agreements he had made, and having killed 1.3 million of his own people, he's not looking out for their interest either, he simply wasn't a safe person to have in power, if it was ever in his best interest that he should see it fit to start making WMDs, then he would, because he does exactly what he wants. Of course, it would have been a lot easier to manage than a full scale war, if the liberals hadn't made political assassinations illegal.

As far as a failure, I'm not sure where you get that from, there are new regimes in Iraq and Afghanistan that are learning to preserve their own integrity, and our economy is actually doing quite well. The only think the left ever looks at to rate the economy is whether or not the government currently has a surplus or a defecit, which actually isn't a rate of the economy at all, in fact, if there's a surplus, it's quite likely the government is overtaxing the people, and the economy is probably being dragged down. The American economy is actually doing very well at present, the only bad thing about it at present is a lower exchange rate as a temporary affect of money being printed to fund the war, but that'll fix itself.

You could add a couple of other things to your list describing Bush ,,,,, He's also a moron and blithering idiot ,,,,,, He's always talked out both sides of his mouth and has every since He's been in office ,,,,,, He's being in office is an example of the power of the dollar ,,,,, Right now the Corporate sector of American controls this country and it's political leaders and actually always has ,,,,, Its the same way with any other major government really ,,,, Were Bush able to run for office again ,,,,, He'd never make ,,,,, He is an insult to a persons intelligence and to sit and listen to him talk on TV is a definite waste of time ,,,,,, And you are wrong about the general American view ,,,,, Bush is the ONLY president that has ever had as low a popularity rating of any president in the history of America ,,,,,, I am very disappointed in England's prime minister Tony Blaire for having allied him self with bush in the wasted efforts and cost in American and British lives in the middle east ,,,,,, I mean how stupid can a person get ?? Bin Laden is the one behind and perpetrator of the 9/11 disaster ,,,, But what does Bush do ?? The idiot goes after Sadam and Iraq who had nothing to do with it at all ,,,, It's like slapping a neighbor that didn't hit you instead of the one that did ,,,,,,And the entire world is still wondering just where the weapons of mass destruction are ,,,,, But when the corporate sector sees some money to be made ,,,,, they send our young people off to war weather it's a just war or not ,,,,,, It was the same with Korea and Viet Nam and Bush seniors effort in the 1990's Desert Storm efforts ,,,,, The dollar rules and when an opportunity to make allot of money arrises ,,,,, Our corportate sector sees to it that our troops are sent off to war ,,,,, The Republican party doesnt believe in abortion ,,,, that's ture ,,,,, There is a better way of controlling our population by waiting untill the infant is 18 years of age and then just send them off to the battle fields ,,,,,,, I personally don't believe in abortion either ,,,,,, But there are better methods of controlling our population ,,,,,,,The people in our government has lost sight to what this country is supposes to be about ,,,,, It was established generations ago to be a government Of the People By the PEOPLE and FOR THE PEOPLE,,,, NOT the select few or corporate elite ,,,,The American citizen suffers allot more than the world knows in alot of ways ,,,,, Like for instance who bears the brunt of the cost of these wars ?? It's the American tax payer ,,,,, Instead of securing enough oil from these oil rich countries to pay for their liberation ,,,,, It's the Tax payer that has to pay out ,,,,, Bush and his ilk has seen to it that we not only lose our children but we have to pay for it too ,,,, There are alot of things that could be said about our situation but there is never enough time ,,, such as here ,,, to cover it all ,,,,, Hope this gives you a broader insight than you have now ,,,, If you are puzzled by or sufferring because of political idiocy ,,, then rest assured ,,,,,, you aren't the only one ,,,,, Only about 1% of the population runs this country and that 1% is the political and corporate elite ,,,,,,, Our country ,,,,, and the world actually ,,, is on it's way to hell in a hand basket and the closer we get the faster we go ,,,,, This is from a frustrated American tax payer ,,,,,,Buy the way ,,,, I've read previous answers to your question and some of them disgust me ,,,, They are people ,,,,, some of them anyway ,,,, where the light is on but no one is home ,,,,,,,

Poor George Bush sorry I'm getting sick and tired of reading the same ****.
Bush did what every normal person would have done took the fight to the terrorists and i would expect nothing different from Blair.
lets face it we would have condemned them if 7\11 had happened a second time so let them get on with the work their doing and thank god we have strong leaders.even if they **** up from time to time "yes they are human" what planet i don't know.

With every waking moment my dear---and yes---mainstream America does see things differently. Gotta understand that our major media outlets keep some of us in the dark (unlike the BBC) and the less intelligent followers of Bush are the kinda people that will jump off a cliff if he asks them to. You guys do your job of getting rid of Blair, we've got Bush's future home in prison in the works, not a question of if---just when and where.

I do not find him to be a fake or a failure. He is heading in the right direction. It is Europe that is asleep at the wheel. You have had to deal with terrorism for years yet the solution that the Europeans seem to favor is capitulation and surrender. I think Great Britain was lucky to have such a leader as Blair who had the guts to stand up for his country despite the criticism

I believe that Europe will eventually come around to our way of thinking. Europe sees itself as more sophisticated than the US but your politics have always been about five years behind that of the USA.

The American people, God bless them everyone, are loyal to their Commander in Chief. When they were told the USA was at war, their democratic duty, as they saw it, was to vote for their president. God Save America. God Bless America.

You do not have to agree with the Commander in Chief. There's a war, haven't you heard?

ATTENTION - phil08194 - you're wrong about the USA getting us out of trouble in WW2 for FREE. We finally paid of the LEND LEASE DEBT in c1995. Oh yeah! And another thing. You stopped paying TEA TAX in c1776. We were still paying the damn tax until 1976 [two hundred years later] when it was quietly dropped without ceremony. By the way, the tax, one penny, remained the same for 200 years. Must have cost damn more to collect than it was worth. Another thing, you're entitled to your opinion - its called FREE SPEECH. Please check the facts, not from Hollywood but history. Visit the Library of Congress.

Our un-employment is at it's lowest, the stock market is at it's highest, interest rates are down, and the national debt just dropped. I, for one, am rather pleased with the overall state of things here. Can't do much about the man's personality, but his success record is good. Hope this helps.

I'd love to know where you got the general American view from. Because last time I checked, his approval ratings were terribly low.

Political pundits do not speak for everyone in this country.
