NO, I don't believe that hip hop / rap is racist. Its free expression. You don't have to agree with what they say.

I see what you are trying to say, but I think you've used the wrong wording / terminology...

I don't think it's racist, however, when someone says rap / hip-hop, we automatically think black. Yes, it is a part of African American Culture and you know what, they are really good at it. Only few white people can rap or do this properly, hence - Eminem.

On the other hand, how many African Americans do you see singing songs like Jessica Simpson? Not many, do you. They will opt more for the R&B and Hip hop, like per example, Alicia Keys.

I don't thik it's a racist thing, rather a cultural thing, but just remember, some African Amercians are racists just as much as some white people, juts like any other race.

I am white but I am being judged every day by both sides for being married to an African American. It use to bother me, but they can all go f*u*c*k* them selves. I have no place in my life for people like that.

No way!
Maybe some people who rap or whatever are racist but you cannot label an entire lifestyle as racist because there are many different people creating that music.... It's not just one person.... It's engineers, producers, emcees, djs, editors... etc... Also underground hip hop is made primarily by white rappers... Check out Sage Francis... Or the Typical Cats (They are a group that consists of a white guy, black guy, and korean guy rapping)

No.Why do you care so much. Why you always got to bring this same question up.Why can't you talk about rock or something because the way you sound I'll take a guess that you don't like rap,r&b,or hip-hop.
