I am christian but love to meditate but I can never do that deeply.

Honey, Meditation is going within. I am a Christian and I meditate and I have gone far enough that I have seen the eye of God. That part is hard to explain. Meditation is a form of relaxation, it is a way of clearing your mind, when you meditate ask God to be with you and guide youand to surround you with His light. He will. And thru practice you will be able to meditate deeply.

What do you define by meditate as a christian,to be a christian is to do the will of your redeemer and purchaser of of your salvation,the meaning of that can vary depending what teachings you may have acquired in your constant growth as a christian.Keeping away from erroneous teachings and staying on track with factual convictions is key to warding off impurities of being a christian,meditation as a christian is to concentrate your effort in the working of factual ,biblical teachings and communicating constantly with your creator ,anything else is leading you in the wrong direction,god bless.

Christian meditation is on truth, relfecting on truth or reflecting on God;s nature and then going out to serve Him

Read scriptures from the Bible just before meditating. Meditate on the scriptures. Works for me.
