No it is a bad system, and I hope I live long enough to see the system change. The bowl games themselves are not bad, just another game, but the way the national champion is crowned is quite disturbing. Playoff system please!!!

The BCS system is a BS system to begin with. Division I football needs to go to a playoff system like Division II or Division III have. How can you crown a "national champion" when they only had to beat one opponent out of many good opponents. Also, you never know when one of those 8-4 teams is going to run the table in a tournament. A bracket tournament, similar to the NCAA Division I Basketball tournament, which has 65 teams, would be much more exciting and fun to watch.

The bowl games are exciting they dont have to many, do you know how many college teams their are like 78 or something. That many teams need alot of oppurtunities to go to championships. I may be just talking here but I think Nebraska's going straight to the top yaya. Oh and have you seen Clemson this year good job bears.

The system is crap. Too many teams go to bowl games for starters. The needing six wins doesn't really bother me though.
THERE IS NO PLAYOFF SYSTEM. To the one who says there is you are the ONLY one aware of it, including the BCS not knowing. What you heard is that the COACHES including Paterno WANT one. They don't have one in Division 1A.

64 is nothing compared to how many colleges that arent going to make a bowl game in every division (1-A, 2-A, etc...). So i think it is a good system.

definite, and my Huskers kicked the crap out of Arizona in the holiday bowl. we could constantly have been in the Feista Bowl. call run in 2010. bypass Huskers edit considering that Wisconsin followers do no longer even understand that they won, they're so beneficial that the fudge will beat the Vikings. teach that they no no longer something approximately soccer.

With that many games they could have a playoff for the top 25.
