how did white people invent everything. if i had a list of white inventions it would be 100 times bigger than all other non white invetions combined, did they just get luck a bunch of times, or could they really be superior.

why am i getting abunch of thumbs down for asking this question whats wrong with this questions, when you get in your car and turn on the radio dont you ask yourself where did these technology come from

im not white, im mexican and i think whites are really superior and they are worthy worship as the gods they truly are

thay have been to the moon and now they look down on us from there satelites like the gods they truly are

How is it you are only aware of the inventions of white people? Could it be that white people were the ones who started to keep records of inventions? Could it be that non-white inventors were discriminated against and had their inventions stolen by whites?

Read the whole history, not just the stuff that seem to prove your beliefs.

We whites like to claim we invented everything, but it's not true. Many inventions (especially things invented prior to the industrial revolution) that are attributed to whites were invented by someone else (like the Chinese), then imported to Europe.

Whites may have had an unfair advantage in the past 200 years. The industrial revolution consolidated Europe's economic stranglehold on Africa and the Americas and much of Asia, preventing other peoples from progressing as quickly as they might have if the Europeans hadn't interfered. It's not that whites are superior, just lucky and ruthless.

Europe was rich from the early age. The people had the money and source needed for research. Thats why whites were able to invent most things. However, ancient Iraqi people also have been known for inventing and discovering stuff like paper,writing history, medical operations, math formula, hospitals and astronomical things.

Why don't you go try to compile just such a list -- you'd see how wrong you are.

And even if all you do is look at a narrow period of history where white europeans were making lots of discoveries and inventing lots of things, they couldn't have done so without the foundations layed well beore them, such as:
-- the concept of zero, from India and Persia
-- algebra, from the Arabs

Oh, and sway_ii: first, you're wrong (there is no such study that proves white males have a greater chance of having a high IQ, at least not one that is accepted scientifically). And even if you were right, who do you think *wrote* the IQ test? White males. There's no chance it's *biased* now is there? :)

Dr. Patricia Guth patented a laser device to remove cataracts.
The list goes on and on.

That's not necessarily true. Yes, they did contribute a lot. But so did black & asian & hispanic people. In fact Asians have contributed even more. Mark Twain went to China and he was put in jail sinply because he claimed that the Chinese were ahead of the Europeans. In fact, the Japanese are still ahead of us, technology wise. Did you know that India created the number system?

Why offer a top of the head racially biased comment like that which has no validity in fact? I'm not going to do your research for you but check out the contributions of the Chinese during the lengthen and course of their 5,000 year history. And the fact that Arab scholars kept science, culture and literature alive when we were bumbling through the Dark Ages. Mention has been made in other postings about the contribution of African Americans to the advancement of our civilization. Respect their African ancestors for their contributions to culture, music, the arts and appropriate technology. Better rethink your ideas, O.K.?
