i need to place a form field onto a webpage with 2 text box. Its been confusing with the "script" or "cgi" that must be placed somewhere. Is there an easy cut and paste way. Is there a txt file i must store in my website database. I need the form to just have 2 boxes and email me the input. How can i do this? Please make it simple. I am html literate and have created basic pages, but this form handling is crucial. Please help!

I would recomend you visit http://www.freefeedbackform.com/ they will automate the whole process. CGI is another scripting language other than html and you much have perl installed on the server. If you use the site recomended they will host the cgi scripts on their server and automate the process. I hope this helped?

It all really depends on the platform you use as your web server. If you use any of the windows family with a Front Page server extension. This is the easiest way for HTML people to create such a form no need of any program language is required. Other wise I would recommend PHP on a Linux as it is free and fast. Last solution will be to go to an ASP page which is awesome but expensive and way too power full for what you want to achieve.
