I know, it's like yesterday I was just walking by and this guy puts out his tin cup and shakes it. I tried to tell him he probably needs it more than I do, but he just kept shaking the cup.

there is an unwritten hobo code. Not many know this but if you pretend like they don't exist, they actually give you money. NO JOKE.

Well, I can do one better...I got spit on in Tijuana, Mexico by a legless man on a wooden board on wheels. No joke...he was begging for money, I ignored him and walked past and he spit on me. I wish I'd had the guts to do more than just look dirty at him, but I just didn't feel like spending my afternoon in a Tijuana jail...lol.
