I know it needs to be a gaming computer but EXACTLY what specifications should I be looking for? I mean what brand, and what little technical things will give me the best gaming quality...cause my normal pc is just not cutting it...and the nuns wont put out when they dont get their Sims playing time in!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

is there a really good laptop gaming system? i need something that can support all of the sims 2 and all of its expansion packs that are out...

yeah i know this is "desktops" and that is cool and all...i am looking for 2 systems, a laptop system and a desktop system...so please give imput on which ever you know the most about......thanx

It wouldn't have to be a gaming computer, they are the best to get, but you don't have to. All you need is a computer with good memory 512MB or more, and a good graphics card. The desktop we have that has Sims2, isn't a gaming desktop and Sims works great on it.

Here's a link the the hp web site, they're great computers, and unlike dell, have way better tech support.

Now if you click the link that say compare usage, it will rate how good the desktop is for gaming. Hope this helps you out.

I'd go with a Dell. I own two Dell desktops and use a Dell laptop for work, I've had very good luck with them.
Get a XPS 700 desktop if you can afford it!

a quick computer w/ a lot of memory, SIMS takes up a lot of space.
