concrete is loaded on the truck by the cubic yard, but it depends on the project ( the depth of application) how many square feet of surface it will cover. The best advice it to call a local delivery company, and give them the depth and coverage you desire, and they will tell you the amount to order. They have a slide rule type calculator

Hi

How do you measure a cubic foot? How many cubic feet in a yard?

A cubic foot is the volume in a box that is 1 foot long, 1 foot wide and 1 foot high.

When you ask how many cubic feet there are in a yard I think you mean "How many cubic feet in a cubic yard?" Building contractors quite often use the term "yard" when they mean "cubic yards." When someone talks about yards of concrete or yards of topsoil they really mean cubic yards.

A cubic yard is the volume of a box that is 1 yard long, 1 yard wide and 1 yard high. So how many "cubic foot" boxes could you fit inside a "cubic yard box"? One yard is three feet so you can fit 3 x 3 = 9 "cubic foot" boxes on the bottom of a "cubic yard" box.

To fill the box you need 3 such layers so there are

3 x 3 x 3 = 27

Cubic feet in a cubic yard.

I believe it's usually sold/priced by the cubic yard, if you're having it mixed and poured by someone else.

FYI. Since you're talking about volume:
it'll be "cubic-something-or-other."

portion of a cylnder it really is basically like 2 same circles and a rectangle rectangle = radious of the proper multiplyes by skill of potential of the intensity of the cylinder = 2 Pi R or Pi D prolonged by skill of potential of the deapth of the cylinder portion of both circles = (Pi R^2)*2 (multiply it by skill of potential of two because there's a circle on each and each end (assuming it really is totally closed))
