Hey Slave2Art,

Hope Art is a good master. The link to the blueprints seemed broken, but great information.

Somewhere in my library is a slim volume entitled 'how to build your own forge' or something like that. It's simple enough. You need a blower [vacuum cleaners work well] a pan, a hood, and some coke or coal. You can even use it to melt aluminum for castings, if I recall correctly. I got it for about $5 over the internet maybe 10 years ago. If you already have a plan, and if I gave you nothing new, just go for it. Lots of stuff works, and for centuries, forges were made individually using completely different methods and materials. You are an artist. Create!
