YO, RIGHT HERE.....COUNT MY VOTE. Heck yes I regretted it, I was beatin, raped, abused emotionally and mentally....I finally wised up and got a back bone and left....12 years of hell. My girls got a good blunt of it too, but you know what...he isn't allowed around them or me. I found a great man that put my ex in his place, and I found a law system that put my ex out of his "fatherly" role. My new man took that role with full reign. Let me tell you, marriage (this is coming from a Christian, brace yourself) is not for the young but for the 50 and above....those people already know if it is going to work out or not with their mates. I don't recommend marriage to anyone unless it is an indian ceremony.....no papers involved. Thank God. Please count my vote. Thanks.

I do regret getting married. Prove, my divorce was finalize yesterday. The biggest mistake of my life was to get married without taking enough time to know that person

I am SO happy I got married! My wife is a wonderful person, and we have a great little family (2 daughters, 13 & 8 years old). We have been married for 20 years; this summer we took an anniversary cruise in the Caribbean.

Definitely. Before I got married I had the cat by the tail. Do what you want, when you want and with who you want. Getting married just added complications. I'm glad to say that now I am getting divorced and looking forward to living in a country where there are cold margaritas and hot senoritas.

When I was walking down the aisle with my daughters father, I thought to myself, "what the hell am I doing?" But I don't regret anything I've been through in life. The only regrets I'll die with were the things I wasn't willing to try.

I was first married at 18 and it lasted 13 years. I regretted it.....After 10 years of single parenthood, I remarried....and although I'm still married - wished I wasn't.

I have many single friends and I really envy them and their freedom to do whatever/whenever they want.

I'm older and wiser now and certainly would never do it again.

I don't want to have regrets. I'm second guessing about getting married. Is it really that bad?

not at all i still love him but that could be cos he works away all week lol. Seriously we have two beautiful kids who look just like him and we are still best friends and sex has never been better after fourteen years that's got to be good wouldn't swap him for the world but if he cheated he would never be able to take a p**s or go with anyone again as it would be cut off with a rusty knife and pickled for preservation.
