Im a 18 year old male and I'm gay. I feel really uncomfortable talking to straight males. I feel like they're going to kill me. I only talk to females cause I feel that they are more understanding. I need a straght male's point of view. (or females is fine too) What do straight people feel about gay people?

I don't care what people do in the privacy of their own bedroom. I just don't really want their ideas pushed off on me. From what I've read, about 40% of the country is anti-gay, 40% are pro, and 20% dont' care either way. So, a long way to go until it is generally accepted by society. It will be hard, but just try to change your sensitivity to the haters. Just try to live your life and find happiness. You can't change some people's minds, so just try to take some solace in the fact that they are miserable enough in their own lives that they have to snoop into yours.

This is Libby's 19 year old brother. Im recently going to college to be a baptist preacher and don't get me wrong, im not here to preach at you. Im not gay and never will be and you are and never can change that. If you think that is right for you than i cant convince you. I wont ! But I dont hate the person but I hate the way and I will never change.I don't hate gay people but I also don't feel comfortable around them and that has some thing to do with the paranoa
part of it. For that Im sorry ,but for every choice there is a consequence!Right?
So, do I think there is something wrong with It? My answer is to say.......That it does'nt matter at this point. you chose it and now we have to live with it so why live with arguing about the past choices making enemies around us. No worries friend.

If gay men didn't act like little girls then we wouldn't have a problem with them. Straight men don't like to here gay stuff plain and simple. Don't talk to guys the same way you talk to women. Don't make references to gay sex when talking to straight men. The reason so many straight guys don't like being around gay guys is because you all seem to make your lifestyle as a gay the main topic of every conversation you have. You all will never fit in with heterosexuals as long as you continue to shove your gayness in there faces every chance you get. Keep your private lives private and stop making it your only issue in life. It fine to be gay. But....damn we don't need to hear about every time you speak.

I have no problem with them. I've been hit on by them before but usually they get the hint. The only thing that bothers me about most the ones I've met is that they seem to embrace the flamboyant stereotypes. I usually get a laugh out of them, but I think by using that stereo typical identity it's hard to see who they really are. Also, some of them just can't understand that some men out there have the same passion and desire for women that they do for men.

I do not form my opinions strictly by what my created mind can come up with. Afterall look at all the crazy variations there are. So I base all my beliefs on what the creator has already decided and He says it is detestable for man to lie with man as a man lies with a woman. Many things we created beings do is detestable, yet He still loves us. Because He still loves me, I strive to do what He wants me to do. In the long run it makes me a very happy person. I see so many doing their own thing and they wind up miserable.

We all have different thoughts on this matter.
I believe straight guys are affraid you'll make a pass at them! They might also be affraid that if you make a pass at them, they might like it!!

Do you know what get's me............there are so many married men who insist or pressure their wives into "anal" sex. Now, what's the difference. One butt hole is like another!! I believe their the macho men, who aren't macho enough to admit they have sexual thoughts of other men!!

I hope you can find a straight guy too, that you can talk to and hang with, that doesn't judge you just cause of your sexuality!

You need to pick a wider range of friends. There are straight men out there who are perfectly understanding to other men and women's sexuality. If the men don't understand or accept it maybe its because their still confused about their own. In Hollywood thats all you run across.

Don´t get me wrong.I´m against any kinda discrimination of gays,
lesbians,bi´s.But from my point of view,it´s against the law of nature.Without the attraction of male/female sexuality and vice
versa,there won´t be any breeding,no kids,no flowers.no animals.,nothing.Whole life would cease to exist.For a heterosexual man,it´s impossible even thinking of being tender
to another man,pet him.kiss him,sleep with him.Our emotions as
well as our brain is planned for female sex.

Sadly, too many young boys are huge homophobes. Give it time. Guys will mature as you get older and you'll find straight male friends.
