When are freckles considered age spots? I am 32 and both my arms have freckles all over them. I also have a few very small ones on my hands. I know for a fact that the ones at the base of my thumb have been there for 10+ years. So are these and will these always be considered freckles? Help, I'm scare with all this stuff that happens as we get older!

When I was younger I had freckles on my face. Now I can only find one or two. My daughter has a ton on the bridge of her nose and I think they're cute.

The ones on your hands are most likely age spots. Although they don't normally start until your 40's, suntanning and fake baking can bring them on earlier in life.
Oil of Olay has just come out with a product called Definity. It is guaranteed to diminish age spots if used regularly.

Yeah, they freaked me out, too. I'm 40something, started getting them on my hands, little by little in my 30's. I am fair skinned. I was always aware of them because in my family they are common. We even have a name for them, "nanny hands" after our great grandmother. So, I've accepted them, I do use creams and am considering laser if they get too bad. There's really no way to distinguish except for well, at my age, they're age spots!
