I just immigrated from South Africa to Canada, and it is really important. I have a new life, new town, new home, new friends, new school, everything.
It's a very difficult thing to go through emotionally and physically. I have a lot of stress.
Canada gained strong, hard workers. And great students.
The country gains, and the family gains.

Immigration is important here in the U.S. because it is ruining our country. This country feels its more important to cater to illeagal immigrant then take care of the homeless veterans that have been pushed aside with the elderly. Sorry people but we're full of all the illeagal, undocumented workers we can handle

It's a blight on a country such as ours. In the UK we have millions of indigenous white English out of work because incomers have taken the jobs off them by working for less money. Also they pay less taxes in the process.
Then we have the economic migrants who have no intention of working. How can that benefit the country.
Far from having mutilculturism we ahve seperation withe the migrants setting up a country within a country. They don't even want to learn our language.
It is my opinion they should stay where they are and create a better environment and commerce in their own land and then they would not want to move.
The Commonwealth gave the Empire the indipendance they wanted and they followed us back home. They want to have their cake and eat it.

it is important for the immigrants because they are starving to death in their countries , their government gives them **** of help, they work like 18 hours in one day just to earn 5 or 6 dollars a week and for those who think that illegal immigrants are ''breaking the law'' let me ask you this: why don't you try to think like one of those ''wetbacks'' for a second.? what would you do if your kids are starving and your ONLY ''option'' is to risk your ******* life crossing the border so you can earn 3 dlls a day and feed your family..

It has become important for obtaining qualified high tech people. The quality of native talent is not sufficient for to days market. This same thinking does not apply to those entering illegally. Not hi-tech.
