I see about a 3 inch piece of rubber (antenna looking thing) sticking from underneath my bike. Is that normal? What is that?

haha, you probably think it's a tube that's supposed to be connected to something and it came loose. next time your at the gas station, overfill the tank and see if gas comes pouring out of that antenna, I bet it does.

it wouldn't be the crankcase vent hose cause that goes to your airbox, and it wouldn't be a battery drain, because bikes have sealed batterys these days

you have to be more specific. is it a tube? or if it a strip of rubber? I have known people to put thin strips of rubber in between the ferings, where they join to give a tighter fit. Follow it? see where it goes. if its a tube and it has a bit of oil on the tip, its the overflow for the crankcase. If its not wet at all, it may be the battery vent hose. start to worry if its just a random strip of rubber, you may just have picked it up fron the road, or it may have fallen away from the filter box, as filter boxes use rubber seals and sometimes rubber flaps to deflect rainwater.

Without seeing it for myself I would guess it's just a hose for an overflow. Maybe for your coolant or battery. Coolant overflow hoses are usually transparent though. So most likely its for your battery.
