EVer since I was little I've been accused of being a liar. When I was lil I never lied becuz I was afraid of getting in trouble, but I got into trouble anyways and learned to lie. But now that I'm an adult I still find that people have a hard time believing me. I do lie, who doesn't these days, but to people that I don't care about. And those people TRUST me. But the people I care about the most, and who I NEVER lie to think I'm the biggest liar in the world. Even to the people I don't care about, I don't lie to very much, I'm not even a big liar, and yet to some people I'm the biggest liar they think they know!

I know you guys dont know me but it frustrates me, that I even tell more of the truth and still get NOWHERE.

How can I fix it. How can I find wether it's really them or me?

I'm sorry I should've been more detailed bcuz you guys aren't getting me. I would really like to get your answers but thier not connecting. When I was younger, it was parents who didn't believe me. NOW they know that I'm not a liar and we are fine. THe people I care about I never lied to even, a white lie becuz I made it a point to be brutaly honest. The people I don't care about are people I met on the streets and don't even really know, and who have no connection whats so ever to the people I care about.

Can't sugarcoat it, you lie. What's worse, you've made yourself a victim to justify it.

Whatever trouble you got into when you were younger must have been huge because you've been labeled. My guess is that you lied to the people you cared about back then and they've not been able to trust you since, so you've been labeled a liar. You said, "Even to the people I don't care about, I don't lie to very much." See? It may not be much, but the fact is you still lie.

You're frustrated by the fact that you "tell more of the truth and still get NOWHERE." That's because, even if you tell more of the truth, YOU'RE STILL LYING!

Stop being irritated about people having a hard time believing you. Stop justifying how you feel because you lie less than you used to. Go get some counseling and find out why it's necessary for you to lie so much. If it really matters to you, you will get counseling and start holding yourself to a higher standard. It's not realistic for you to continue to lie, not take responsibility and expect people to treat you differently.

Well miss...i know where you are coming from...this actually sounds like a question i would have asked about a year ago...it takes a lot of time to gain someones trust back once you lie to them even if it is a little white lie...so start telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth...even to the people you don't care about...its not something that is going to happen overnight hun but it will eventually work...just trust me on this...well good luck...i hope i helped a little...

I suspect that, because of your childhood, you are repeating the pattern and associating yourself with people who are not trusting by nature. Step 1: stop lying. No, not everybody lies "these days". Step 2: every time someone accuses you of lying, stop the conversation, tell the person that being told you are lying makes you angry, and tell them not to say that again in the future. Confronting it this way will either change their behavior, or drive away those who are incapable of trusting (who you would do better in life without anyway).

You now see what lying no matter how big or small gets you. If the people you trust say your a liar they must have reason and of course we can't believe you because your a LIAR!!!!!! TELL the truth ALWAYS ...its the only way to redeem yourself.

Once some one found out you lied to them- they will never believe you again no matter what- I have friend that lies so much I can not even believe when she says good morning. I have to check the time to make sure it is not pass noon. That is a babd reputation to have. Try your best to work on fixing that. Good luck
