Having glanced at the other answers prior to answering this one I can tell you that the age is dependant on the child staying on at school. If the child leaves school at 16 and goes into their working life then maintainance stops, however, if the child goes into further education the money is paid up to and including the childs 18th birthday but not one day after the 18th birthday.

Hopefully this question has come from england.
From experience you pay maintanance while the child is at school, when they leave at 16 it stops, unless they go into further education when you are obliged to carry on paying.

If he had only one baby his funds to you'd be decreased having 2 youthful ones it could be decreased so significantly better, if he were given a pay upward push his funds will be better etc etc. yet him and also you may want to artwork some thing out if you're both up for negotiations.

I suppose that you are refering to child support. In my state, a parent has to pay until the child is 18 and out of high school. Sometimes, a parent has to pay until the child is out of college.
