Very self-centered, the kind of "Type A" personality that isn't "admirable" or inspiring. It isn't cute that she is emotionally dead inside. Why does that brilliant surgeon even like her? As far as looks, is she supposed to be a good looking woman? When she was in "Sideways" I was like, ok, she looks like a suffocating Coy fish. Then when I saw her in another movie, I thought, hmmm in fact she might look like an asain transvestite. Now that she is on Gray's Anatomy, I think, wow--who is she blowing in Hollywood? Is she chosen for her classicly ugmo looks, or her lack-luster method of acting? Back to the show, I think she and Meredith should be killed by a falling Helicopter. I mean, thats how they get rid of characters in "ER"..

Well she used to be blowing the writer of Sideways. They were married for a while, but now she's divorced and free to blow other Hollywood writers and directors.
I don't think she's that bad, but I agree that she is definitely not all that.

First of all it Grey's Anatomy...second that is her character. Has society gotten so wrapped up in television that they have to judge the characters. Please grow up its just a show...granted a great show...but just a show. At least there is some what of a diverse cast, its good to see such a fresh and openly blunt character. I do however agree that she probably isn't the most attractive surgeon on the tube these days, but nonetheless a good actress. Give her a break its her job man.

First the character - its called character flaws, we all have them(apparently yours is being critical) and it gives the character a chance to grow.
Sandra Oh- the actress: I think it's wonderful that an actress in Hollywood isn't afraid to look the way God made her.

Shoot. Shonda actually wanted characters that don't look perfect. Come on, nice to have diversity on a show rather than all blondes with size 2 bodies. If you don't like the show, stop watching, cause it won't hurt their ratings.
