America was FOUNDED by immigrants. Therefore, there would be no America without immigrants.

this is a semi bogus question since even the american indians(north and south america) migrated along the bering straight thousand of years ago so there are no benefits,immigrants blend into the culture and a fusion should occur(i.e melting pot) I believe after the first generation arrives,any other offsprings are no longer immigrants but in this way of thinking you not only come here(to this country) for a better oppurtunity(a benefit) but the minute you contribute into the society(CONTRIBUTE)you create the same benefits that any citizen expects from america as long as it is legal,come here illegally and you've already broken the law which doesn't benefit society

Our existence, for one. America is a young country, founded by immigrants. None of us would be here if it weren't for our immigrant ancestors. The only people who don't have immigrant ancestors are the native Americans.

Nearly all Americans are Immigrants so i would say alot.
America belonged to the Native Americans. Then all these people who wanted a new life in Europe chucked them out, used the rich land to get richer.

Today's illegal immigrants from Mexico provide cheap domestic help for our elected politicians and wealthy elite who don't want to pay a decent wage, nor want to pay taxes. So they hire illegal aliens as cooks, nannies, housekeepers, farm laborers and gardeners that are then supported through government programs paid for by the average American taxpayer. It's a sweet deal if you're a wealthy American or a Congressman - you can just keep sucking off the taxpayers' teat! -RKO-

Legal immigrants? Lots & lots & we thank them for their effort.
Illegal immigrants? Nothing at all....& that is why the smart ones want them back to where they came from & the wall put up & immigration as a whole scaled back.
