Okay so I would suggest Limewire. It is the best. It is also free but there are stipulations to that. You can download songs, but they may take longer to download because you will be getting alot of pop ups. The good thing is it is free and you can stilll get all the great songs. If you want to be a member i believe it is like 29 dollars FOREVER, and you won't get pop ups.That's less than cents a day. After downloading three or four albums you would have got your monry's worth.
If anyone mentions Kazaa on your answers DON'T LISTEN. I bought from them and a month later they gave me the services that free customers get because they were updating thier systems. I never got my money back and I never got the right program back either. SO Stay away from them, plus you can't even contact them if you wanted to.

I've tried winmx, imesh, kazaa and now i'm using limewire. they're all right limewire is the best. winmx is gone. imesh sux and kazaa has just too many ads in it and well it also sux now... there's bearshare w/c my friend uses and it's also good. haven't tried ares but i heard it's also good. these are free...
