This is a very good question.
I will like to answer it.
Love is the most beautiful and probably the best thing in the world.
If your lover loves you truly, is a genuine person, cares for you as much as you would and if you two (you and your lover) love each other truly then happiness is yours.
But one sided love is no good.
Love has to be reciprocated by the other person.
Else there is something wrong.
Either it is not true love or the other person is not worthy of your love.
In either case "Love someone who loves you" holds good.
Love is the best gift to the humanity from God.
Heaven looks tiny in front of true love !!
Even God can be won with true love !
A rational and scientific person with true love and a true lover
he does not need liberation or heaven he is already above that !

You wouldn't know it from the answers I've read so far, but "love" doesn't have to mean being "in love" with someone. There are many other ways of experiencing love. It's a feeling that no one could describe in a way that someone who hasn't experienced it would understand, but we do all know the feeling that the word refers to. Look at a baby's face and you'll soon see it shining through. Spend some time quietly in a nature, and you may feel it washing over you. I've been lucky to have known many many people that I loved and still love; my family and friends and even some that I've just read about, or whose music or art I've experienced. but every time I've been "in love" it has ended in disaster. As someone said: "Love, like gold; is where you find it"

I believe the saying THERE is A THIN LINE BETWEEN LOVE AND HATE love is wonderful but the minute you don't have it anymore it turns into this disgusting thing you despise but IT IS BETTER TO LOVE AND LOST THEN TO NOT HAVE LOVED AT ALL but it also sucks losing it! REAL LOVE LAST FOREVER love hurts but also eases the pain love will never leave you feeling the same..don't take advantage of it cause you don't know what you have till its gone..never hold back or be afraid to let go love hard love strong

Love: alot of people ask what is love? Love is GREAT Ive been with my boyfriend for 5 years and Im still head over heels with him. There's not a day that goes by that I dont cherish him and our relationship. When you feel that way then u are truly in love. I hope that ur relationship works out if your in one

Oh it's a pretty pretty feeling. It can make you feel as if all is right in the world. But it has a bad side too. If it comes to a time when the love and relationship is over it can be sad, confusing, and hurtful.
So it's nothing to take lightly.

Love is hard to find. Lot of descriptions are said about love but still it is fleeting. I think I can describe love negatively.. Love is not desire. love is not possessive. love is not a prison, love is not selfish , love is not dependency, love is not control, love is not limited, and finally love is not a thing in personal mind. If you discard everything that is not love, then love is.
