I didn't get the job, just because I don't have much experience using a computer program in a workplace. I told the interviewer that I only learned using it in a class, but don't have experience using it at work. He said he's looking for someone who's already experienced.

When I read the description of the job, I knew I could qualify for it. It's only the computer program, such as Excel, which I've never or rarely used at work. And, I guess, I really didn't know how to sell myself effectively.

I was somewhat rejected and disappointed afterwards, because I was interested in working for this company.

Commitment and Teamwork.

Recently I had to go to a bunch of job interviews. Each one is the same. Let them know about how important it is to cooperate in a team enviroment.

Let them know how much you want the job and how excited you are to come and work for them.

Act like you already have the job and are just talking about yourself.

and ask questions about the job they love that.

Good Luck

Well, sometimes there are so many applicants with the right skills and qualifications (so that the organisation does not need to train them), it is difficult to compensate for this.
However, your interest and enthousiasm for the job will always play an important part. It is about conveying this, asking intelligent questions, sounding interested etc... in other words, you need to "project yourself" in the job, imagine you have it already and ask questions on that basis. If there is a specific skill that you are missing, explain how you plan to fill the gap.
Of course you are disapointed. But you learn every time. Good luck to you.

Look if you don't have experiance WHO CARES. Let me tell you, all you have to do is come back with the interviewer with questions that you know he will be inpressed with. Such as, okay I understand I don't have experiance, but do you want someone that knows "____", someone who is reliable, dependable, will be a loyal employee? so on and so on. Be confident and express to them that you have to believe that there is someone out there that will give you the opportunity he may say okay I admire that let's see what you can do. One more thing you can try. tell him to give you thirty days if you really want the job. If he doesn't like what you do for him have him fire you. Plain and simple.

Keep looking there is a reason for everything. You will find the right one, trust ME!!!

Good Luck!

You honestly did the final suited element. For the employer to settle for calls for the time of an interview is rude as properly -- and could in basic terms be performed if the subject is definitely pressing and demands prompt interest. in spite of the shown fact that, his utilising that excuse replace right into a lame attempt at rationalizing his very own irrelevant habit. And while this rudeness replace into further to his interest, he would not have been attempting to describe or make an excuse in any respect; he could have been apologizing profusely for his habit in an attempt to regain your want throughout the interview. For him to excuse his habit or lay blame with the aid of asserting "yet employers do it," is a demonstration of his loss of integrity in the place of work. as with every assembly of this way, his interest could have been concentrated thoroughly on the job handy -- the interview. It makes you ask your self whether he might have shown the comparable artwork ethic, or lack thereof, if he have been presented the job he replace into interviewing for at your employer.

best resource I have ever used is Idiot's guide to interviews. In fact State Farm interviewer recommended that I review this. It helped me negotiate lots of the terrible questions like what are weaknesses, etc.
